just starting

Hi All,

Just jpoined this site, and I like it all ready.

I am in the proces of building a Pilgrim Sumo, the rolling chassis is almost ready and almost needs an engine. awaiting reply on a rover V8 otherwise I am going to use a V6 ford and try to bolt on two turbo's to get some aditional power.

If anyone has some ideas to help me it will be appriciated

Glad you like the site, theres loads of info here on Pilgrim's to help you along, and some odd characters who will offer advice to.

I think you should hold out for that V8, nothing wrong with the V6 but it just dont sound right, lacks that window rattling sound.

Yup, welcome to the madhouse, we got all sorts here.

I'm approaching my second year of forum membership and find it invaluable. Without this site I might think I was the only one to make mistakes, cut a hole in the wrong place, or take too much off with the sander...

I might even think i was the worse typist and speller in the UK, but these guys constantly manage to remind me just how good I am..

PS, Wait for the V8, only engine to have and it will add '000s to the value of the car when its done.
