The Worst Kind

Hi all,

by rights i have no right to even be here, as i dont own a cobra and am nothing but a dreamer at the moment, but an honest dreamer at that! I currently drive a '71 Herald 13/60 Conv, but aspire to be a cobra-like owner asap. My favourites have to be a dax or a RAM, not bein fussy and all. Been interested for a very long time, and i apologise if this has annoyed anybody, but i am the future of this movement as i WILL be driving a cobra soon. You seem like great people, and i look forward to future activities with you. Hope i havent ruffled too many feathers,

Cheers,

Dave Curtis

No one has a right to be here, all are welcome though. Welcome to the CRC site.

Re: The Worst Kind

Hi Dave.

Welcome to the Mad House. 3 1/2 Years ago I was in your position (minus the herald conv) until my better half pushed me kicking and screaming (I, thought I put up a convincing fight!! ) into building a Cobra. I'm only just on the road, but now have a permanent grin on my face
Go for it, you know it makes sense.

Ps The ability to ruffle feathers is a requirement to posting here :thumb:

Yup, i'm jealous of everyone on here! Its just a matter of time really. Its a life goal, and comes well before learning an instrument and being fluent in another language! I'll probably be about 25 before i can afford anything yet though, and i think insurance may be a killer, how do you guys find it? this is already the most friendly forum i know of! makes a nice change!

Cheers,

Dave

Its due to the wonderful people we have here

Insurance isn't normally a major problem, limited mileage policy of 5000 miles per year is about £500 for my GD.

Hey thats not bad at all! Theres that myth put to bed then. Which is nice. Been tryin to find a RAM site on the net but found nothing. Also found a link for a guy that'll build a Dax to your own spec for something like £27k. Reasonable i think! At least not as much as i first thought.

Its all good,

Dave
