Instruction is free for anyone that books on the track. :thumb: :thumb:

| Re: Learn to handle a beast. The track days are good when youve got your car on the road, but if you want some instruction before you get it / finish building it I would recommend a trip to Brands Hatch looking at your location, they can give you some general instruction on handling a car of any sort.

| Re: Learn to handle a beast. Sweet :thumb: I think I will be a spectator if I can make it. But this is good to know for closer the time I have the car :-}

| Re: Learn to handle a beast. As Rob says Elvington would be a good learning curve. Pesonally once you get on the road the thought of how much you have spent coupled to the knowledge of how much power you have under your control programs the brain to respect your capabilities :thumb:

When I got the Cobra Dave Brookes told me 'have fun but dont die trying' and many people on this site also warn new owners to take care. I wondered what the fuss was about as I have owned a number of powerful cars before, well, I thought that they were powerful till owning this one. I have owned the car now for 18 months and still only use lots of loud pedal when in a straight line. I want to learn to make the most of the car on the road while staying within the safe limits so have booked the Elvington track day. Looking forwards to learning what it will do while while ensuring I dont decorate any trees ![]()

| Re: Learn to handle a beast. A cheap and easy way is to go to your local go kart track. It'll teach you some basic principles if you've never tried it.
