Jan 2008 meet

I'm going to keep it at the Blue Bell, Boroughbridge for January as I haven't really had time to source a decent new venue.

See you all next Sunday 6th Jan, fingers crossed for decent weather ... I'm in the Cobra this time

Kev, so long as the rain stays away, no hood or tonneau at the mo then I will be along. I may stuggle to justify it in the lowly tin top as I have had quite a few days 'running it in' at the mo.

Am I nearing a 1000 yet?

Hi Kev,

I'm hoping to get there but it won't be in my Cobra as it isn't taxed. ( just sent off for tax & reg transfer)
Hope weather's good though as I can't wait to see your car, it looks fantastic in the pics.

Regards Phil.

Just a quick update. If the weather stays as rubbish as it is I don't think they'll be much point in having the meet. I'll put an update on here on Saturday after I check the ever so reliable weather forecast.

No Point in having a meet, I'm sure if it's not Cob weather you could pop along in the tin-tops, any excuse to get out for a pint.

SW lot never cancel a meet because of the weather.

Unfortunately if the weather is pants then I won't make it. The meet isn't my local one but 'local' enough at an hour away to take the Cob for a blast. The tin top won't be an option for me as I'm already pushing it hoping to go out in the Cob. My trousers fit her real nice

Just watched the weather and it's looking favourable as per what Chiffer said.

MikeT - You being a migrated northerner will remember how absolutely shite the weather can be up here. I spend wey too much time in the pub as it is according to other half

Anyway - decent weather = my first meet in the Cob ... bring it on
