Its a bit barren on this 'ere Northern Forum.

I have a Fiero factory Euro 427 Cobra with a Rover 3500 engine, whats the typical bhp of this engine? I dont think that its been tuned to any degree.

To give any meaningful guess-timate we would need to know wha headers/exhaust, cam inlet manifold & carb/injection system

AFAIK RV8's are anything from approx120 -150 BHP as standard [that at least is boumd to get a response]

Hi Stuart

Your looking at about 140-145bhp in standard form, with a Webber 500 carb and manifold kit you should get 180-185bhp

Whats AFAIK mean?
The exhaust seems to be 4 out of each manifold into two then into side pipes.
Might need a closer look to be certain.
Carbs are twin SU with Simota air filters.

Thanks, I just can't get a handle on how quick it is, It feels fast, but then my arse is only 6" off the road and theres no roof, I'm still buiding up confidence in the handling of the car, I dont want to end up on Youtube for the wrong reasons!
These Chevy engined cars with 350bhp and over must be scary.

I had a 180bhp Rover V8 in a Sumo, It would easily keep up with my mates 400bhp Chevy up to 90mph, but after that I was just a blip on the horizon.

Just be very carefull till you get used to it.

Thanks for the advice, I experienced a bit of a shimmy from the rear on the first day I drove it, in damp conditions (Greyhound rbt A580) and I think its got enough power for me for now.
I kept the brown undercrackers for a souvenir...
