If the weather's good I may make a weekend of it.

Note: tickets for that show have to be booked in advance or you'll end up in the public car park.

Lee, don't forget, Steve makes brilliant, mohair tonneau covers.

My tickets came through last week The tonneau cover is in the pipe line, just saving pennies. I will probably get it done when the car is off the road this winter. Helen is having the day out too, Mum is having the kids so it'll be a nice change for us.

The Stars 'n' Stripes usually has a good turnout. Especially if the weather's good.

I don't think there are any club stands this year. It looks like we form long rows, all facing one way, so the marques are random and positioned as you turn up.

I'm arranging to meet up with Steve and Art before we go in. Probably in the lay-by, just after we leave the M56.

Popped out for a quick drive just now and got soaked, so checked the metoffice for weekend - it doesn't look good. Even worse the fact I'm camping over. Looks like I'll be needing the wellies.

Anyone else daft enough to camp over? Are there any facilities in Tatton or is it just a field?

Jon

Phil, myself and Helen were going to travel in convoy too. I mentioned it to Steve and Karen a while back. I'll start maiking some calls tomorrow to see what the plan is. I'm sure you're more organised than me! I will also

Jon, I didn't even go out in mine and still managed to get it soaking wet again tonight. I had rolled it onto the drive whilst organising my garage. Whilst busy beavering away it was peeing down outside Bloody weather! It hadn't even finished drying out from last Thusday.

Just checked the met office. Not seen this before, but it either means it will be raining all weekend, or the NW has been replaced by a lake !

Sodding global warming, how can a V8 be blamed for it when I can never get to drive it because of the weather!
