Are you sure that your Cob is a Dax? A few things spring to mind. Forward mounted brake callipers, shape of the foot wells, engine mounts, the front end of the chassis and the bonnet scoop. As said before, some more pics would help. The old domestic wiring electrical junction box is a nice touch!

Sorry for the delay! Taken a few more pics - worth noting that rear shox are Spax adjustable. Any further pics required, just ask...

Also:
AK body: my dad went through some paperwork today and found the receipt for the body, which indeed is an AK (full marks for observation Purpe AK!). The chassis was sent to factory and they bonded it to the chassis for us.

Dax chassis: he also found the original Dax build manual - this chassis is probably an older/newer version. Slogger - what age is your chassis?

Lastly, we live in Witham in Essex which I forgot to mention earlier...

Could well be Chris, but what about the chassis? Any ideas? Doesn't look like a Dax or AK to me.

What is 'Semi-stainless'? Is that rip off speak for they are made of mild steel but I'm going to charge you the Stainless price.

Slogger - I'm just telling like it says in the 'brochure', but thanks for the insight again.
Cheers.

I'd be more interested in what it says either on the chassis VIN plate or the sale receipt from the supplier than what it says in a brochure

Mr, or other, V8wanted. How about letting the rest of us know who you are m8. 5 posts and not even a name.

Yes that Cob has some serious issues but until there is some more info available we are left wondering. I do not wish to pick holes in the thing as the guy is trying to sell for a third party. All I can say is that my old Dax looks like a hand built super-car compared to this one so I'm happy.
