Mirrors

Sorry I dont know where the mirrors are from ,they were on the car when I purchased it
they are fitted with 2 bolts through the windscreen surround, and are positioned just right for their purpose, better than the wing mounted ones on my SRV8 (you cant see hardly anything )
I hope the car finds a good home, but there are a lot up for sale at the moment, I do think the first person to look at it will snap it up

Regards

Pete

I thought it looked familiar.
DB no. 62
It has had some nice additions since it left me.
It was supplied by Dax originally as a rolling chassis with fitted body and engine bay cladding.
I took over from there and completed, SVA'd and registered it for a Mr D.M.

Hi Dave,
Which Dax are you refering to, as the one I have for sale is extremly well put together, but I'm not sure who built it but it would be nice to find that it's one of yours

regards

Pete

even if it's not I believe if you checked over the build of it you would endorse it

Hi Pete.
Is there a choice?
I built the one you have in all the pictures above.
Rover v8 with badges on the rocker covers with "450" on them.
The hoses have all been changed since it left me.
The Dax vin plate is riveted to the support towers for the upper front cross member (near side).
The crank pulley was black with the words "4.6 Cobra" written in white paint/marker on the inside.
The door cards are held on with black fir tree clips.
The customer later fitted wind wings which interfered with the mirrors that I'd fitted (A tad too high ) and there should be some evidence of a bit of modding.
Heater pipes ran backwards across the top of the engine and entered the cockpit through the top off side of the transmission tunnel flange.

It's either one of mine or it's a strange coincidence.
