Definitely

Though this engine is an excellent example of a fine, world-class Cleveland, due to the obvious high performance nature of it, it is offered without warranty. This engine will require QUALITY gasoline. It will run well on appropriate premium-grade unleaded fuel. The engine was dyno tuned/tested using 100 low-lead aviation gasoline. If you purchase this engine for use with unleaded fuel, you may need to richen it up more and/or modify the timing depending on the quality of the fuel you obtain. With the compression at a bit higher than 11.25:1, you should be able to use pump premium with an octane booster. My recommendation would be to use a minimum grade of 98 octane fuel. However, both Klein and I feel that 91 octane premium could be used in normal operation with some timing pulled out and if underhood temperatures are not overly high. If driven on the street, I'd recommend using an oil cooler and change from the electric waterpump to a belt-driven waterpump. Note that this engine makes well over 600 HP and even if detuned for premium pump unleaded, it is going to be a LOT of engine for any street vehicle. It will also produce a lot of heat, so ensure that you use an exceptional cooling system with it.

My Son had a toy steering wheel which he used to spin furiously, making loads of go-faster noises, leaning into all the tight corners, perhaps running the government feels a bit like that. You make all the noises, but when you stop you haven't really gone anywhere.

274 degrees cam duration at .050 and 105 degrees LCA = naff all vacuum at idle, and idle at around 1500rpm. Major inlet tract reversion until about 3000 - 3500rpm. Gotta love it though.

Fantastic engine for a drag racer...............or a Nascar replica.
