RV8 for rebuild

Having just finished rebuilding another 3.5 RV8, I have the old motor available for someone to rebuild at their leisure.

It is an early SD1 motor from 1976 and is complete less the flywheel, inlet manifold, timing cover, water pump, oil pump and crankshaft pulley.

If you have a motor to replace, then this gives you the opportunity to get the core motor fully machined and rebuilt before pulling your existing motor and transferring the ancillaries across.

Obviously, the motor will need to be picked up from Bristol.

Only looking for £50 to ensure it's not just dumped.

Paul

Paul,

I could do with a couple of heads from an SD1 if you still have them, I have built a device to measure improvement in flow through a cylinder head, I have modded the head on my rally car and the results are quite impressive so would like to tackle the cob, hence I need a pair of heads to modify/practice on to detremine the best shape and size of ports for maximun flow.

collection no problem, I think we are local to each other

Cheers

Keith
