Gel coat touch-ups

Ive got a few minor scratces to my gel coat. I have got a little jar of the gel coat and an even smaller jar of hardener. What is the most effective way of applying it. Does it need to be carefuly painted into the hairline scratch or would I be able to mix it then apply it by rubbing it into the scratch with a rag. Would I be able to make the repair unnoticable? Excuse my ignorance but I've never worked with gel coat before, any replies would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers Monster

Monster

Go to Halfords and get a tin of touch up paint to match, if its a spray can, spray some in the lid, then build up in thin layers with a small artists brush till its proud of the surface, when dry use 1200 wet and dry to smooth it flat, then re-buff the gel with appropriate compounds, Farecla G3 and G7. :thumb:

Worked fine on my previous Gel coat car
