| Re: inner sills Ive just done this job, simply bond in place at the rear with fibreglass and sealant. Use door rubber to hold around door shut and put a couple self tapping screws through fibreglass inner into chassis to hold front. Once back from paint il put a thin bead of sealer on the door reveal and press door rubber back on to hold it. THen carpet over it. I havent fixed it solid as il never get in to fit the windscreen. | Re: inner sills I've done the same as AnthonyUnfortunately I can't attach pictures as they are too large (and I'm too stupid to minimise them). Will gladly e-mail them to you if you wish. "robinthebox@tiscali.co.uk" Robin

| Re: inner sills Gary Putting those in is a messy job. But the real mess sis usually just behind the door around the rear quarter. It should be reasonably neat round by the door hinges. Kevin |

| Re: inner sills Having done it once, I now know how to do a neat job - but isnt that the case with building these cars - you do a job and learn how to do it, then having finished, you now how to do it properly for next time!. But to be honest, having completed all the bonding of the rear inner wings and the inner sills, they don't look to bad once i'D slapped rubbercoat over all the inner wheel arches. The interior part is a bit messy, but it doesnt really matter as it will all be hidden by carpet (and in my case soe vynil panels). btw, i recommend making access panels in the rear inner wings - these have come in very handy for access to roll bar mounts and access to the fuel pump, - which i disconected for wiring debugging - the wasted petrol and ticking of the damn thing really pissed me off when I was scratching my head wondering why i had no brake lights and other wiring faults! | Re: inner sills Just a tip but I recommend boxing in below the inner sills where the floor meets the channel section and other odd metal shapes. I filled in the gaps with ply then glassed over that, nice flat surface, and it will make fitting the carpet a lot easier.
