With my current set up i will no longer be able to undo the bolts and nylocs-as once this gap is filled in, there is no longer any acess to the nylocs! Any suggestions please?!?!?!?

| Re: Door Striker Plates Why do you feel it is necessary to fill in this area ? I have left this open and found very little debris gets thrown into the sill area by the rear wheels and it leaves the area open to get to the body mounting bolts, brake and fuel lines etc. You never know when you may want to get to something to repair or replace it. |

| Re: Door Striker Plates Hi Terry, after sealing off the inner arch i had to get to the door striker plate nuts to make adjustment. Cut a hole in the wheel arch area fill panel, behind the nuts to gain access. Then made an aluminium cover so access could be made at any time in the future. hope this helps.

| Re: Door Striker Plates Terry Given that the rear wheel arches are glassed in, these provide sufficient support for the body to prevent any movement, the filling in of the front area is only going to be cosmetic. The issue of the front wheel arch inners, is a completely different matter. I have screwed the inners into place to allow for easy removal but I think they are intended to be glassed in to provide support and anti- shake of the wings. |
