Hi,

Is anyone out ther running their Sumo (RV with an MSD ignition module and if so how did you get your ETB Tacho to work with the MSD unit?

There is a special take off on the MSD 6AL unit if that is the one you are using which is where you connect the wire that used to go to the coil. With the ETB instruments you will not need to use an adapted to modify the signal. :thumb:

I agree with Martin, i run my ETB rev counter direct from the tach output on the MSD unit, the EFI was a different matter though

I had already connected the tacho output from the MSD unit to the ETB rev counter and it did not work. Now you have confirmed that this output should work without modification I will re-check connection etc to make sure wiring is OK.
