Rear Bumper SVA

Hi again

I have the standard Pilgrim rear bumper and overriders. I have mounted the fog and reverse lights on the bumper between the spars with P clips.
What are the SVA implications with:

a) the mounting arrangement of the lights. (I really don't want to bore unnecessary holes to fix the lights)

b) The overriders etc

I know people have removed the bempers etc for SVA, but can it be avoided??

Cheers

Phil

Re: Rear Bumper SVA

Hi Phil

fog light min height 250mm and more than 100mm from stop lamp. must be e marked and visable from 25 deg either side and 5 deg above. the lens should also be vertical. make sure there is no sharp edges on the p clips.

reverse lamp is not required, but if fitted the above regs apply.

overriders must have rounded edges

bumper outer edges (points) have to be rounded or covered.
I placed the reflectors at the ends to cover this area.
hope this helps. :thumb:
