Sumo Tonneau Fit Problem

Has anyone else come across a fit problem with the Tonneau cover from Pilgrim? The bit that is supposed to go over the steering wheel is about 8" further back (toward my seat) than my steering wheel is located! I still have the Sierra wheel on...does this make a difference?

Re: Sumo Tonneau Fit Problem

Bob

I fitted the tonneau cover last weekend although I did buy it from Pilgrim about two years ago No problems with the position of the steering wheel covering (I have fitted a Sabelt wheel but it's in about the same position as the Sierra wheel was). Maybe Pilgrim have changed their supplier, I would ask Tony why it's so far out, maybe they can send you another one.

Cheers

Re: Sumo Tonneau Fit Problem

Had a similar problem in that the wheel cover would have been better had it been a couple of inches further forward. With a nice 13" wooden steering wheel fitted (post SVA) instead of the Sierra job, it is not so much of a problem
