| Re: sva paperwork I took the V5 I have with me when I went down to the SVA testing centre to re-book my test - I wanted to check with them that the paperwork was in order before the test. I got the V5 from the scrapyard when I bought the donor car from them, but it had none of the change of ownership tags left on it, therefore it is not in my name. The inspector at the SVA centre was only interested in the V5 if I had used the engine from the Donor car, so that he could check that the VIN numbers match. Am I missing something here ?

| Re: sva paperwork Richard. The V5 is needed by DVLA when you register the car in order to "prove" that you had a donor, and used the required amount of parts from said donor to qualify for an age related plate. It's a paperwork exercise really, But still required.
