Which Battery?

Gents,

Can anyone give me a pointer as to which battery I should be buying for the sumo...

Is there an equivalent, or a specific size I should go for? I'm getting tangibly close to starting her up... :thumb:

Thanks in advance,

Brian C

Re: Which Battery?

I've got a Rover V8 in mine and Pilgrim recommended the Granada MkII 2.8 V6 battery to me.

Re: Which Battery?

Not the cheapest place I know but I ended up with a Halfords HB334 670amp thing, it turns over my 6 Litre with no problems and fits in the battery tray nice and snug.

Re: Which Battery?

I fitted a Lucas 334/4 90 Ah which I bought from Motor World. It throws my Chevy over really well. It fits in perfectly alongside the screen washer bottle and the heater hoses. With the terminals at the front and the positive one on the off side so keeping the wiring to the starter motor short and neat.

It is a great feeling when it starts for the first time savour it.

Best wishes

Ian
