Which Brakes

I dont know if anyone has done this, i have fitted a 4.6 rover engine and it is loads of fun. But, I think i had better do some thing with the brakes.
One sugestion is to fit brakes and disks of a cosworth as the front end is a ford granada setup with granada brakes.
The other sugestion is fit paget disk pads as they will give loads more bite. The brakes are not to bad at the moment but it would be nice to make them better.

This is for a pilgrim mk2, any advice would be welcomed

Thanks
Paul

Re: Which Brakes

If you are having no problems with the braking at crescent why do you want to upgrade them unless of course you want to do some track days. But even so the RV8 is not noticeably heavier than the pinto engine and the car is actually quite a bit lighter so they should be ample as they are.

Re: Which Brakes

ah well that is a good question, and worth asking. Compairing them to modern day brakes i think they lack initial bite, you have to give them a bit of big boots, but you are right, they work fine. I just want to make them a bit better.

Thanks
Paul

Re: Which Brakes

Not heard of the pads you mentioned but a lot of people recommend Green Stuff
