Fuel tank help

Have just purchased my Sumo which is based on Cortina running gear. The question is the fuel tank is not mounted in the boot space but underneath near the anti-roll bar/ axle and i need to replace it as the previous owner used a hammer to form it!!!!!!! to the right shape. Has anyone any ideas what tank it may be or what may be a suitable alternative. Cheers

Re: Fuel tank help

The tank on my Cortina based Sumo uses the standard Cortina Mk3,4,5 tank which are still available although the filler neck is on the drivers rear wing
