vibration in 5th gear

Hi All

Car done 5k miles and is sumo III with RV8 3.5ltr and LT77 box,

A problem that is getting worse is I get vibration through back of car and up through seats at around 2500rpm mainly when in 5th gear, if I slip it into 4th the vibration goes but then again the revs also go up so not sure if my diagnosis is right. It seems to be getting worse becuase problem was only experienced when hitting 65mph plus, it now seems to creep in from about 55mph - again mainly in 5th gear.

I really want to be sure its the box before I remove the gearbox so any thoughts to confirm or challenge my diagnosis is welcome. points to note when giving advise are , wheel bearings all ok, (just had an mot) wheels balanced ok, prop was new 5k miles ago.
