Bonnet Edges

Howdy

I`ve just started grinding back the bonnet edges , I did read a thread that they are supposed to be cut back flush.....does flush mean that all of the edges should be ground off leaving the underside of the bonnet smooth or do you leave a couple of mm so that the bonnet is flush with the surrounding body??

A picture might help

Thats it for now......I think

Best regards Frank

Re: Bonnet Edges

Thanks John

So I won`t have to order a new bonnet after all.

Grinding the bonnet to a round edge seems like a good idea to me. IŽll copy that if you don`mind...well ...even if you do mind

Regards Frank

PS.
Just received my order form the US and just had to see how it looks...see pic
