Hi Westy,

I presume that you are talking about headers not lumps of cast iron, if so

What are they made of, mild steel or stainless?
Are they for underslung or sidepipes?
Are they 4 into 1 or 4 into 2 into 1?
What bore are they?
Got a picture ?

Sorry about all the questions !!

Regards,

Pete

Pilgrim V8 Rover exhaust manifolds

Hi Sidecarbod,
These are the 'early type' Pilgrim manufactured mild steel 4-1 header assemblies. They were purchased to fit with sidepipes, although I am not aware of the headers to suit an underbody system being any different.
These are standard Pilgrim items. I'll check the outlet bore and sort photo on Thursday.

Hi Westy,

Thanks for the reply, unfortunatley I already have the later Pilgrim headers, (I believe that mine were the prototype) I think that they leave a lot to be desired so I doubt that the earlier ones are better. Looks like I'll have to build my own.

I'm sure that someone who isn't a fussy bugger like me will buy them off you!

Regards,

Pete

Westy

Are the manifolds still available ?

Can you post a photo just to ensure they are what I want ?

I have been running the Pilgrim items for over 5 years but last night I took the exhaust wrapping off one of the branches that came close to the steering joint, only to find that heat had been retained too much and the branch tube has collapsed !!

Now I need just one new ( or replacement) manifold.

Thanks

Paul
