Harness mounting bracket

I would like to fit a harness to my Sumo.

Does anyone know the dimensions of the bracket that is required for fixing the harness.
Thought it was posted a while ago but cant find it.
Any photos you have the bracket would be handy.

Cheers
Jim

Best thing to it make some cardboard templates, that way you can be sure not to waste lots of metal.

FYI, I un-glasses the ones in the pictures today and have bought some very chunky steel "T" section to add to them, that should make them really really tough. Will post some pictures when they're done.....and I can find somewhere that sells Welding gas bottles.

cheers
Graham

Machine Mart or Halfreuds should sell welding gas bottles.

I tried Halfords, the entire welding section was bare despite the computer telling us everything was in stock, apparently welding gear is very popular with thieving little sh1ts who prefer not to pay for things when they leave the shop. Do gypsy caravans need a lot of welding. (apologies to any cobra owning travelers who frequent this site)

No machine mart near by, will try huffing on it as I weld.

The attached drawing shows the design and sizes I used for my belt mounting brackets.

Whilst you can use them as a guide, check the sizes relative to your particular car as they may be slightly different.
