sumo hood

Has anyone out there fitted a duck skin hood to thier sumo? if so can you describe what the material looks like, I've bought one and it just looks like a heavy canvas.
Cheers
Mark.

That would be correct Duck is like canvas, others that are shiny are made from vinyl.

Yes, Duck and Mohair are like canvas but with a much finer texture finish (at least compared to a military LandRover canvas hood )

The third Pilgrim option is a vinyl hood and that's very obvious if you have one!!

Make sure you fit it in the warmth, as it will stretch like mad if you fit it in cold weather.

I wouldn't bother sell the hood . Iv'e had mine on a Sumo for 5 years I put it up once and would sooner get wet the next time. If you do fit and you intend to use a Toneu then don't buy the Pilgrim one but have long one made that fits the same studs and avoid the double row of studs that looks so ugly.
