Pilgrim's craft
Hi
My Sumo was registered (twice!) for the road in April 2000 - finished to a very basic standard to beat the in-coming SVA test. I ran the car for a couple of summers and it has been in storage ever since - in the un-finished state. All of my workshop time is now taken up with Land Rover projects for LAND ROVER Monthly magazine but I would like to get the car finished and on the road. Would taking the car to Pilgrim to be finished be a good option? Has anyone got experience of their work? Incidentally, my car is registered with a rather nice plate: V8 COB (this is part of the reason it was registered twice). Thanks in advance, - Trevor |

Hi Trevor and welcome
Might be cheaper to contact Anthony (Chimera is his forum name) he is one of our South West members who builds Cobra's for a living, his work is to an exceptional standard, you can contact him via a PM on here or through his web-site. Absolute Horsepower - Cobra Build Specialists P.S his main builds are Sumo's

Hi Trevor,
Mark at Pilgrim builds them to a high standard and have seen a lot of his work, I would recommend him. Bit of a long drive though

Thanks for the replies guys and thanks for the welcome.
I'll probably go with Pilgrim - I have already touched base with them on it and the prices quoted for the work seem very fair. I dealt with Tony Holmes back when he was in Den Tanner's employ and found him very straight and helpful. The only reason I had some doubt was from reading comments on here about Pilgrim's customer service ![]() |

After seeing Pilgrims last factory demo car I would defiantly go with Chimera seen several of his cars and he really does do a good job.

What sort of things do you do with Land Rovers? Restorations or off road preparation? My other interest on 4 wheels are Land Rovers and Range Rovers. Craig.

The demo car was not built by Mark at Pilgrim?? It was a customer's one that they bought in.
