I'll have a look tonight for ya.
I'm in Worcestershire, if you can't get anyone more local you're welcome to drive down.

Craig.

DONT DO IT WITHOUT BODY! All distances are established when fitting body

pelham939 is, of course, correct. To obtain the best fit, you will to wait for your shell.

However, to give you ahead start.....

The bottom of my side pipes are just about flush with the bottom of the chassis rails, maybe 0 - 5mm lower.
And the centre line of the pipe (which are 3" diameter), are 5-5.5inches away from the chassis rail.

How close you can get the pipe to the side of the car is driven by how large the hole in the shell is vs the diameter and radius of the bend.

cperry , Measurements are great thanks , these are for trial fitting as pelham 939 says wil wait for body to tweak fitting but want to get all running before getting body. Is it also possible to give dimension from front firewall to the 90 bend coming through body.

Mine's quite close, only about 30mm away from the firewall, difficult to measure as this is where is pipe diameter changes.

You'll need to get it as close as this so that you are cutting a hole out on a flat piece of shell, as opposed to the moulded edge of the wheel arch.

Make sure you clip any wires well out of harms way too or Mr SVA won't be happy.
