Registration and spinners

Hi,

I have noticed some posts on registraion of late and wondered if anyone had some advice.

I have a pre SVA MK2 sumo that is registered as "Ford-based Pilgrim GRP" "sumo"

I was thinking about changing this with the DVLA for something like "Pilgrim" "Cobra" ???

Anyone got any advice on what this should be to be correct??

I have spoken to DVLA in the past and they were happy to change the description to something more accurate and meaningfull, but haven't done anything about it as yet.
I have never had any trouble with getting an MOT on the car in the last 7 years I have owned the car.

Also anyone got any advice on fitting spinners.. Brought some at stoneleigh yesterday, but looks like I will need to get some collars turned up to bolt to the wheels to fit them.. Unless you can buy these somewhere of course??
As the wheels I have don't have any flange to fit too.

Many Thanks,
David

I suspect that the 100% accurate answer is to call it a Pilgrim Sumo. That after all is the official manufacturer and model name.
