Hi there,
I got it from Europa Spares, they do a few different types.
To stop it from tarnishing, I cleaned it up as best I could, and then clear laquer coated it using standard rattle tins from Halfords.

You can get a wide range of stainless sheets from ebay, with a range of finishes, its not cheap though.

Hi Marty,

Fame or infame what the heck, i tried to get s/s machine finish from europa but they say that they only do ally sheet in the finish you have used So i guess you have used ally, next to find somewhere to hire a rivnuter from.

Gazza,

Oops, I think I may have mislead you. You are right, it was aluminium sheet that I got from Europa, which is why I laquer coated it to stop it going dull and tarnishing if it got wet, which good quality stainless shouldnt do. Sorry to cause confusion.

I got my rivnut tool from Car Builder Solutions. Have a look at their website as a starter. You may find that its not worth hiring for the extra cost in buying.
