| hi guys, chezd, i will take some photos. anyway got some stuff from pilgrim, now ? i have the mk2 , and have got the mk3 stone guards, i think. its hard trying to get mk2 bits now, mind you its hard trying to get any bits from pilgrim. i know and don't expect them just to fit perfect, nothing does on this body. but they are close, as in 'that are shiny 'the same as the mk2 ones, but i thought i could trim them up a bit, do you have to do this anyway, i am just worried because at £105 a pair, it could be costly. what is the best or preferred method of fixing them, and do you have to put some kind of edging round them for sva, cheers, ps , i don't see where the £105 is in the stone guards. |

| hi robin, thanks for the reply, yes i understand the difficulty in making them, i would have made them, myself, but i don't have an English wheel etc, sure that's what its called. but basically its a piece of aluminium, about £5 . a side, you know what i am saying. think i will get a wheel. could be rich in know time, did you have to chop yours about , or did they fit perfect, tried them on mine, but not that good a fit, try explaining the cash to the wife, who would look and say its a bit of metal? blah blah , and it goes on, and on. lol. |
