Tyre Pressures

Need to get the suspension set up better than it is currently, now running 16" rims with adjustable shocks set about halfway on the clicks.

Going over big bumpos causes me to bounce out of my seat and car becomes hard to control.

Will tyre pressure setting make a difference - anyone found out what works best for 16" ?

Jon

20 - 22 psi won't be far out all round.

Cheers, I think i am a bit higher at the moment (24 ish) will dropping down reduce the amount of bounce, of should I click up the shockers adjustments too ?

Suggest you try reducing the tyre pressures first as they are easier to get at & see what difference that makes.
If you still feel the ride is too hard you can then tweak the valves on the shocks.

Had same problem when first on the road, thought that I had set it up all to stiff but in fact the spax shockers were set to the softest setting and hardley worked. Wound them in all the way and come back 6 clicks and sooo much better

My shocks no longer click on adjustment (after a mere 1.5k miles!) so just turned one revolution clockwise, and set pressure at 22psi all round and seems a bit better, thanks folks
