STOP !!!!!!
Beware that placing the ply wood fillet panel inside the wing could create a ripple in the top surface as the fibreglass will sag very slightly over the first year or so. Plus, glassing in the panel makes it impossibile to get into the area behind. I though long and hard about this, you will need to panel to stop heat from the engine bay roatsing your legs, and decided to make a template out of chicken wire then remove, lay on plastic sheet and spray with expanding gap filler (B&Q) then finally cut to shape. These can then be pushed in and removed if necessary as well as being resistant to the engine bay heat. Worked well for the last 20,000 miles. Paul |

Even if it's just for future access, I would go with the removable solution. HTH Paul |
