Give Pilgrim a call, I had the exact same problem and Robin gave me the part number.

The part is available from other places than ford dealers. I got one from a motor factors and its the same as the white one but is actually black.

cheers

That's all well and good but the problem may also be that the quadrant is at the end of its adjustment. It was on my car (Red quadrant) and it was on your car (black quadrant). The tube that pokes through the bulkhead needs extending.

I'm now on hydraulic and that solves the problem very nicely! (Cheers Tony)

Clutch operation

Can't help with part number but have to agree with Pete, junk the cable & convert to hydraulic. I did mine after spending most of last year messing about with different cables etc. changed to hydraulic & no probs since ( touch wood )
Regards Phil.

Hi Andy,
I had same problem, short legs
The part I got from Ford dealer is 91AB7L609AA this is the white quadrant and a new pawl to go with it.
It said Escort on the box, but fitted OK.
I have Mk3 Sumo, Chevy V8, Tremec box.
Since fitting, driving is much easier now as I don't have to sit so close to the steering wheel.
Regards
Don
