They are, but they are not E marked, are really a race tyre, not a road tyre, and most definitely would not go through SVA.

Meaning that the tread area is very thin. I know plenty of folks who use them, mainly in the USA, just they wouldn't get through SVA here IMHO.

Wilf have you any more info on these tyres please? Sizes, cost, availability as I will be looking for a set of 15" for my cob as my present tyres are most probably shot and flat spotted. No SVA problems here...........yet!

I have 15 inch tyres made by Avon and have a high speed rating. Can't remember if the are E marked, would have to go and have a look.
