Thumbs up been busy

hi guys, well i cut my rear wheel arch up today, it was not a very good fit, or shape , took a template from the drivers side which was a good fit, and transferred it to the passenger side. there was about an 1" off difference, i know it does not sound a lot, but it looked shite, everyone keeps saying you will never notice it when your in the car, but I know its there, its a lot better now, will put photos in my gallery if anyone is interested , and thanks gary, the template was great, will put onto plywood and fit, i was going to put a angle bracket on the bulk head so the fillet would fit up to it, which then can be screwed into place. also was going to put something like clingfilm around the bulk head and body, then put a strip off fiberglass onto the fillet and the bulkhead and body, all round and when set , hopefully it will come out , and i can trim it down later, then it can be put on with a couple of screws and a bit off mastic , if you know what i mean. cheers colin.

Ok Colin, i fitted a strip of wood to the bulkhead with polyurethane sealant and was hoping to screw the fillet into that but not sure yet, the paint work is almost complete now (see my aviator) just the doors and a final polish to do then i will have it back then i am going to be busy, will let you know if i find a good way of making this area easily removable.

Gary
