The standard Jag uprights have a bolt on steering arm facing backwards with the steering rack behind the wheel centre line.

Maybe your one is different to the manual I got.

Cheers

Craig.

Hi Craig,
Yes I think it must be different,I did,nt build this Cob so dont know a great deal about the suspension set up but it looks beautifully built, the front suspension seems very substantial compared to the Pilgrim designed mk111 wishbone set up, I must say I am very impressed with this version, although it was built way back in 1994, so is a few years old now.

I assume that you have a Sumo MKIII?

There are several mods that make a huge difference to the handling of the car.

Here is an old Bumpsteer post. (I'd cut the posts down to 100mm not 102)

Bump steer

Here is what Noel said after his car was "done"

Sumo Bumpsteer etc. etc.......

There are also mods to the rear to get rid of the toe out and bad camber angles. Someone else can dig them up or you can do a search!

I see that this is your first post, welcome to the forum!

The Sumo handling question comes up once a month...expect some incoming "flack"

Pete
