I must be one of the lucky AF customers. I spoke to someone who knew exactly what I wanted, promptly sent forms etc.. Insurance was based on Chassis No. for drive to MOT & SVA. I will notify them as soon as the DVLA get their finger out and sort my registration and issue me with a registration number. Insurance based on an agreed value.

No probs so far.

John

Talking Resolved.

Spoke to another operator (Haley) and was assured that AF can insure on vin only just need to phone and let them know the date required and pay £15.75 for a days insurance. But thanks for the many replies and all points noted.

Thumbs down

I read latest copy of Kitcar mag - not bad on content. But the adrian flux so called article (or 'advertorial' as I think Den calls it) was a bit of a blatantly biased shocker. Plug plug plugging of AF, no other companies mentioned, and great praise from the journalist. There must have been a very hefty backhander on that one!
