Question autobrass windscreen fitting

Hi guys

I've cut out the Pilgrim indents in the body for the screen, when I offered up the autobrass screen the legs are about 10 mm wider apart than the pilgrim indents

Im sure someone told me this was the case and you just let the holes out a bit more but before I cut away I thought I would check with the experts

Hi Steve,
I too fitted the Autobrass windscreen. The holes lined up fine for me. I set the windcreen rake as per the pilgrim manual. I did find the rubber seal on the screen tends to make it awkward to line it up, but you should be able to 'massage' the screen and rubber into position. Remember to fit spacers in the bolts between the legs and chassis.

Hope that helps.
Jim

hi
I fitted a brasscraft screen which I think is very very similar. I found the legs a little wider than the indents and so just extended the holes a little. As long as you secure the legs well and the eschutcheon plate covers it all you'll be fine.
