| Hi Pete, Not sure about the actual figures for your car but the max road speed is used to determine whether you have correctly rated tyres but can be worked out by using max revs, gearbox and diff ratio and wheel circumference. I'm sure someone will have the answer already worked out. Just make sure your tyres are rated for whatever max speed you put on the form. Engine max power revs is used for the noise check which is done at 75% of the max power revs. So again make sure that the noise level is below 101Db (?) at that (75%) engine speed. Max power revs will depend on engine and build. a bog standard Chevy 350 taken from an old truck could be as low as 4000rpm but Vosa are fully aware of what most engines rev to. You will probably be asked for some sort of proof of that figure. Either from the engine builder or data from a recognised engine builders site. I used a print out from Summits site in the US. Vosa questioned it and there were raised eyebrows at the sva but it was accepted. Design weights should be available from the kit manufacturer. If you don't supply a towable mass value you won't be allowed to tow a traier! I think you only need the first three weights listed. HTH. Andi.

| Thanks Tony and Andi, My engine data sheet says max power is 300bhp/5500rpm. With my pipes on that will sound like a nuclear explosion and blow the db test...! Thanks for pointing out the load data in the back of the manual Tony.
