A Car Is Born

For anyone who is building a Sumo and would be interested to borrow the film, I have made my own VCD format of the program (taken from Granada Home & Liesure). This can be played in a DVD player that supports VCD format or on any PC with a CD-ROM drive.

If you are interested just drop me a note.

Cheers,
Tony B

RE: A Car Is Born

Tony,

Please be aware of the FACT (Federation Against Copyright Theft) and the laws governing the copying and distribution of material such as this. Even though you're not asking for money I think the FACT laws still cover unauthorised distribution.

I'm not sure how well the makers of the programme would take to this sort of distribution. We can get enough tickets and visits to the courts for speeding etc. in our cars without adding to the list of offences!

I'm nothing to do with the above organisation, but thought I'd make the point as the forum is a very public place to put such an advert.

RE: A Car Is Born

Kirk,

Point noted. Offer withdrawn.

Please do not contact me for any copies of this programme. Please either wait for it to be rescreened on TV or see the manufacture for future details.

However, if anyone wishes to know how any part of the build is tackled in the programme, PM me and I'll give details.

Regards,
Tony B
