Sumo Shocks

Hi people
I am in the process of replacing the Spax shocks on the mark 1 Sumo as they have been on the car for 13 years now. In would like to replace them with something that allows more refined adjustment than Spax. Can anyone suggest an alternative. Also just a passing thought, has anyone managed to to convert a granada based Sumo to coil overs ??

RE: Sumo Shocks

You might have seen my question about coil over shocks. I don't think the problem is fitting those (I've allready done that in the front), but you have to find out what spring rates you need and off course length of your shocks. The ones fitted now make my Cobra look like a 4x4. I'm still hoping that anyone can give my some advise, but maybe this weekend I know more. I'm getting the help of 'the dutch masters' in building Pilgrims, as they were called in kit car mag. So be patient and I'll get back to you.

RE: Sumo Shocks

Oh, and instead of Spax use AVO. They have better adjustment possibilities.
