Tyres

Having decided that my Sumo is going to be for posing not racing, I felt that "BF Goodrich" in raised white lettering would look good on the tyres.

In various complicated discussions with North Hants Tyres, my local-ish specialist importer, it turns out that 215x60x15 for the front are on back order, possibly never to re-surface. Apparently the sort of tyres that look good on a Sumo are well out of fashion, and don't get much made any more by anyone, not just Goodrich.

NHT have two more 205s in stock, after the ones I just reserved, and some 235s in a container on its way, and it's likely that other dealers will be the same - so if you want this particular look, and you are thinking of buying some time or other, get them soon!

RE: Tyres

I don't think a Sumo will fit more than a 235, though not actually having got hold of the tyres yet, I might be wrong

RE: Tyres

If your car is Jag based you could try them for size.
