| Rear light fitting Whilst rubbing down the flash lines in preparation for fitting some more of the lighting, I was wondering about the rear lights. Has anyone got through SVA okay with just the stop light and indicator fitted one above the other , but with the reflector fitted lower down inside the ends of the overrider ? It just looks a bit cramped with all three mounted on the limited ‘flat’ area :9 Steve |

| RE: Rear light fitting Don't put them inside the ends of the overrider. They must be all visible at 25 degrees in any plane from the rear, they are not fully visible if you do. The picture of Tinka's Cobra is the perfect place, on the bumper by the overrider. |

| RE: Rear light fitting TINKA, Cheers, Just what I was hoping to do. One question, where did you get the fog and reversing light ?, are they flush mounted or mounted on the overrider as well?. Regards :tu :f |

| RE: Rear light fitting Hi Steve, the fog and reverse lights are mounted to the overrider as well, AK welded two little L shape brackets with slots for the screws so there is no obvious fittings when you first look unless you tate a closer look. The lights them selves are the standard Universal ones, I think I heard someone say that they were landrover ones. Martin :tu :tu :tu :tu :tu

| RE: Rear light fitting I notice that you've got head restraints fitted. What seats did you use and have you got a photo taken from the front so we can see what they look like ? Cheers David |

| RE: Rear light fitting Dave, I don't have Head restraints fitted I have fitted seven style high back seats. Not very everyones of tea but my wife likes them as she doesn't haven't hang on as we go around corners and they are very comfortable.:tu :tu :tu :tu Even if you fit a different style seat it is worth the head restraint as a friend of mine has gives his wife whiplash on at least 2 occasions. | RE: Rear light fitting / seats I agree totally about the safety aspect, the "normal" Cobra seats leave your neck extremely exposed. I've been looking around for suitable seats for a while now, an added problem is the lack of width in a Sumo. I'm currently considering the Richfield RX777 which has a separate headrest. Hoping to finalise at Donnington this weekend. Was it difficiult matching the clour of seats to dash and door trims ? Cheers David |
