Sumo side mirrors

Has anyone fitted some decent side mirrors.
I have the Pilgrim supplied ones fitted to the wings as per brochure and they are crap. Limited field of vision & the n/s one is obscured by the screen surround.
Merry Christmas to all.:sm

RE: Sumo side mirrors

Look in this month's edition (80) of Snake Torque, it has a decent article about all the types of mirrors. I've fitted the No. 4 mirrors in the article and they give adequate field of vision but must be mounted as far back as possible. I also used wing nuts to be able to tighten them up easily.

My inside rear view mirror is mounted high up near the top of the sreen so that gives a very good field of vision.

Always have a final look over your shoulder before changing lanes etc.

By the way, I haven't got any weather gear yet so rear vision is a problem even without mirros.

Happy Xmas

David

RE: Sumo side mirrors

Hi,

Speak to Roger from ShinyBitz, he did somthing with some Mini mirrors that worked really well on his Sumo.

If you are looking to sell on your current mirrors then I might be interested in taking them off you.

Cheers,
Andy
