What about using the original fan of a Ford V6

Hi,

has anyone thought about using the original fan of the Ford V6?

I'm using a Scorpio Cosworth 24V but the engine block is the same to the Cologne V6 (sorry, my technical english is not that great). The fan is directly attachted to the engine. I thought about building a tunnel from the engine to the radiator.

There are 2 questions now:
1. Could this work in general?
2. Is there enough space within the chassis to get the engine in with the fan attached?

perhaps you know something?

thanks a lot

Sebastian

I was just thinking, that the people at ford probably thought about their cooling system - so why don't keep it.

But probably the electric fan is much more simple to install.

thanks
