Attaching front nudge bar to over-riders

I have a MKII that I'm re-building (very lose term - might as well have done it from scratch !), I have a stainless nudgebar from the origional car which has a vertical mounting plate on either end approx 120mm long already drilled with 2 holes, the overriders are Brasscraft cast ones without holes - the obvious thing is to line everything up and drill/bolt everything together but the plate are pretty much flat and dont follow the contour of the overrider very well.

Before I fill everything with holes, has anybody got any tips or pics of their methods used ?

Re: Attaching front nudge bar to over-riders

Mike, If you haven't completed this yet , then I've just fitted mine - Sumo mk111

I'm only down the road in Bradley Stoke, so if you want me to pop over with car, then let me know.

Mike
