Rear Lights

Hi again

Just about to fit the rear light cluster. Standard Pilgrim supply (for now!)

What are the restrictions. Is it indicator, brake, reflector top to bottom as normal or is there more I should know?? e.g. spacing etc

Phil

Re: Rear Lights

Mike

Does "separation" mean distance between both side indicators and both side brake lights etc.

Is there any min/max distance between the indicator/brake/reflector within the individual cluster?

Cheers

Phil

Re: Rear Lights

Yes you are correct, shouldn't have put that in to confuse, as its irrelevent really, unless your putting them on the boot lid.

No min/max distance within cluster

Re: Rear Lights

Hi again

I've got a fog and a reverse light to fit. The lights are matching and have a swivel mount with one centre fixing bolt. I hope to fix them between the bars of the rear nudge bars equidistant from centre.
The method I hope to use is to cut a piece of stainless flat bar with a centre hole for each lamp mount, then mount each piece of flat bar to the top and bottom nudge bar with stainless U-bolts (with all the nuts facing the car)
Hope this makes sense!!
Do you foresee any SVA probs with this arrangement??

Regards

Phil

Re: Rear Lights

Should be no problem.
I did a similar arrangement but had the mounts welded to the nudge bar so from the rear of the car you cannot see any mounts at all, just the lights which are a perfect fit between the bars of the nudge bar with the lenses flush to the bar.

Good luck

David
