Yes, I stay in Monifieth.
I think I saw your car a few weeks ago. Looked very nice.
Good to see a few Scots owners.

Re: Cobra Guys & Gals in Scotland

Craig from Perth

I'm building a Viper (Ford based) with a highly modified Rover V8 fitted with a Paxton SN60 Supercharger (280-300 bhp).

Just getting to the 'got-all-the-bits-how-I-want-them' stage (Lots of time spent welding, cleaning and powder-coating', so I can soon start the rebuild!

If any of you are interested I'll be taking my chassis through to ESP in Glasgow to be powder-coated in a few weeks time - if any of you want anything powder-coated let me know and I'll see if I can get it done at the same time as mine for a knocked down price...

CeeJay.

Re: Cobra Guys & Gals in Scotland

Hi,

David from Edinburgh - Sumo II Ford 2.8

A friend saw a Blue Cob in Leith (29 Oct) about mid-day. Well, he said he heard the distinctive rumble before he actually he saw it - He wasn't disappointed.

Any chance of an organised meet in the future?

Re: Cobra Guys & Gals in Scotland

I'm hoping something could be arranged for the future (if there isn't something arranged already), but I'm not volunteering to arrange it at the moment.

Anyone know where I can get my Chevy 350 rebuilt and/or stroked to a 383 in Scotland? Preferably around Aberdeen/Dundee area.

I've heard http://www.agraengineering.co.uk

do engines but are they familiar with the Chevy?

Any info/ideas welcome.

Hi Jason,
I know Johno, (John's son) at Agra. Johno is a good friend of my partner's son and is very approachable. Give either of them a ring and speak to them.
I'm afraid I can't give you any info about their work on V-8s but we have used them in the past for work on tractors!
Cheers, Clive

Re: Cobra Guys & Gals in Scotland

Agra did a rebore on my Rover V8. They did a good job with my rebore and it looked like this sort of thing was their bread and butter. worth a phone call :thumb:
