    AMC or not, im afraid there wont be many that would spend money on a unknown engine rebuilt by someone with little experience or credentials - sorry.

    My we are a defensive bunch aren't we.

    Poor chap has a nice V8 all rebuilt and ready to run and wants to sell it, what's the problem? I know it's not your usual engine to fit in a Cobra look a like but why the hell not, Some people are crazy enough to fit Lexus, BMW, Jaguar, Engines in them so why not AMC. If someone came along and said they have a 427 SOHC or a Dodge 426 Hemi motor for sale he would pounced upon by everyone here trying to buy it!

    It's not the engine that some have issues with, it was the way he went about it and his attitude in a previous post!!
    Best anti speeding device - a rear view mirror with a police car in it.
    A pedestrian - someone who thought there was still a couple of gallons in the tank.
