    I know a lot of people prefer BG as they have 4 idle mixture screws where as Holley only have 2.

    No idea if there is a cost difference. I'm sure a Holley may work just as well for me as the BG one.

    I too have always thought that the carb is a bit big for a 383. But my original Huddart engine had a 750 Holley on it as standard and it seems a 750 is the size a lot of people choose for a 383.

    I.E. you can feel the car is decelerating but you can sense that it could be decelerate quicker...
